Good Afternoon,
With recent changes in the law regarding Health & Safety when Designers, Surveyors or Installers attend building sites, we now need your help.
If you happen to visit a customer where we would be installing their new furniture on a building site we now need you to make us aware at quotation stage (quote upload).
To do this all you need to do is to type the words BUILDING SITE into the office notes box via the room spec page on artiCAD.
Our validation team will then pick that up once the order is converted to ensure the correct surveyor/installer is assigned to the installation.
Failure to do this can and will delay your customers order and unfortunately could put you and our directors at risk of prosecution (I know that sounds dramatic but it is super serious).
Just to confirm: any customer that purchases (if it’s from plans or you visit their home and it’s a building site) please pop that note on the room spec page. If you do attend a building site please ensure you do not enter the site until you are accompanied by the Site Manager.
Our lead generation teams will be briefed to add into the notes the site managers name as your point of contact so you just need to check the notes.
If you go to an appointment and it involves entering a building site, do not go any further than the visiting area and you must sign in. If asked to go onto a site and you do not have the correct PPE or/and are not accompanied by a qualified person, do not proceed and ring our Trade division for advice (01455 251441)
If you have any questions please contact designer training however thank you for your support with this.
