At Hammonds we do two different types of furniture construction: Full Carcass (or fully lined as we sometimes call it) and Front Frame.
The detail:
One Colour interior - Launched in 2016 to celebrate Hammonds 90th anniversary. Interior colour is called Novanta Oak which means 90 in Italian.
Front Frame has no side panels or ceiling.
Uses every mm of available space.
No wasted space behind top and side scribes.
Excellent for mid height ceilings and awkward architectural features.
Drawer fronts in accent grained mussel.
Frame is 90mm.
Floor is included with the interior.
The doors still have 4 hinges (same as full carcass).
Depth can be increased to a maximum of 800mm.
Plinth is 90mm
Differences between Full Carcass & Front Frame:
•Similar costings, more material Full Carcass, more fit time Front Frame.
•External look exactly the same, irrespective of construction.
•90% of our customers prefer the look/feel of Full Carcass (gives the traditional wardrobe look).
•All interior units available in FC, i.e. Trouser rail, pull out shoe racks.
•Front Frame utilises all space within the area, no lost space behind infills, top fills etc.
•Front Frame can assist around awkward architectural features.
•Front Frame can go to a maximum of 800mm deep, FC to 610mm.
•Minimum depth of both 90mm.
•Spacing differences in mixed run of Front Frame and Full Carcass.
