From head office regards communication with account holders:
Under GDPR regulations we can only speak with the account holder.
We advice that when 2 people are involved in the order process that both are put on the contract (eg; Mr & Mrs) so both can communicate with the office. If a contract only has 1 name on the contract then the following applies in order for communication with another person...
VERBAL CONSENT
If the account holder wishes for us to speak to someone else on their behalf we need verbal consent from the account holder which is valid for 24 hours.
WRITTEN CONSENT
If the account holder provides written consent then it is valid for the duration of the contract including guarantee (10 years).
Hammonds would be in breach of GDPR regulations if we did not follow the above.
