“A bi-fold wardrobe has doors that fold open by neatly stacking together like a concertina rather than opening out into the room.”
The detail:
Full Carcass wardrobes only - not available in front frame.
Available in all ranges except Linje in 800mm, 884mm, 1027mm robes.
Left hand bi-fold or right hand bi-fold - allows maximum access to interiors:

Both doors open to the left.

Both doors open to the right.
1180mm wardrobes are only available in flat panelled ranges (Elkin, Radley, Avon and Libretto)

Each 590mm door is split into 2 doors (295mm each). Great for tight access spaces without reducing the depth.
Bi-Fold Rules:
Must have a minimum wall scribe of 110mm or 130mm if door handles are on the edge of the door.
Cannot be push catch doors - must have a handle fixed on the front of the door.
Pull down hanging rail (counter balance rails), and interior drawers only available in 800mm, 884mm, 1027mm bi-fold wardrobes.
Shoe racks and trouser racks (both are pull out's) are not available in any Bi-fold wardrobe.
On angled doors - guide arm's are required for support (same as on angled sliding)
Cannot have mirror doors on Bi-Folds.
Cannot have interior mirrors on Bi-Folds.
No back of door fixing options on Bi-Folds (pre-dresser, tie rails etc)
Only in 2205, 2070, 1935mm robes.
Bi-fold are brilliant in under stair situations - you can use double robes instead of multiple singles - more cost effective for customers.
Charge per bi-fold wardrobe is on the door supplement page of your Price Book.

In the example on the left - charge for the wardrobe, the Bi-Fold charge and then the angle door supplement per angle door.
**NO SPLIT INTERIORS**
Due to the depth of the shelf unit side and the bi-fold mechanism behind the doors, we are no longer allowing the split interiors to be used inside a bi-fold robe.

Due to how this shelf unit side is drilled, it cannot be reduced back to miss mechanisms.
